Is there only a single pistil per flower head?

Number of pistils per flower head varies in plants. In Custard apple there are numerous pistils per flower. In Hibiscus there are 5 pistils but they are fused together to from a single structure which protrudes out from the stamen tube.

Number of pistils per flower is an important character used for classification and identification of plant species.

Is there only a single pistil per flower head?
